Architect and Photograph
I was born in 1960 in Romania
I studied architecture and graduated The Architecture Institute « Ion Mincu » in 1987
In 1990 I moved to Paris where I lived and worked as an architect ever since.
My training as an architect gave me « an eye » for details and graphics and ,on the artistic
side , a sensibility for chromatic harmonies and plastic arts.
Photography isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s a way of seeing the world in it’s most intimante
details, an « aide mémoire » to help me remember what I once saw and loved.
I have a particular attraction towards what we may call « patina » … old walls full of
cracks and history, rusty tins and pieces of ancient boats , abandoned places filled with gosts
from the past , old toys and faded flowers …
Sharing my vision of photography imposed to me as a need and since 1999 I exposed in
individual or collective exhibitions, almost every year, in Paris, Bucarest, Luxembourg,
Tokyo, Lisbon.
My photos are in private collections in France, Romania, Japan, USA, South Africa and
Grece .
